I guess its just all about perspective and experiences. I have noticed that my friends who wear them tend to be intellectual, confident, openminded and tolerant women. And I just happen to think that they flatter me - and jadecat as well.
So, here's to opinions! you know what they say....
My feelings on them are based purely on subjective personal experience and as such are really not a valid critique of their aesthetic value. I'm really not capable of objectivity on this one. When I was that age, the girls wearing them tended to be - like me - the awkward type with waaaay too skinny arms and legs and funny haircuts and at the age that smart did not win you the love. Boy, am I glad I never have to go back to my childhood!!! lol.
