jadecatThe fires in California are awful- and I wouldn't consider them anything to be joked about. I have heard that some of them had beginnings other than natural.
So the image of a man looking over his destroyed home- while SMOKING a pipe is just...
To me that clearly shows how self-destructive Americans can be- they look over their own destruction- and then continue the habits that caused it! (not to say that this man smoking this pipe caused any of the fires- I'm looking at it more symbolically.)
I'd link the actual photo- but it's one of several in a Yahoo slideshow- it's picture 33 of 632 though.
