Sep. 14th, 2005 03:44 pmSo today has been fun... got to sleep in a little bit due to a doctors appointment this morning. First time seeing this Doc, and yeah I was a bit concerned. However, her office is like 2 minutes from my house- so I took that to be a good sign. Anyhow, went to the office, met her nurse and really liked her. She was quite funny. And after joking around while taking my info she declared that she and I would get along just fine.
Few minutes later my Doc came in to talk with me. We hit it off pretty well, she listened to what I had to say- and the reasons for some of my self-diagnosing things, and actually was highly amused/pleased to hear about lj's![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
vaginapagaina. I think this patient/doc relationship will work out well. She was quick and efficient without making me feel like I was rushed or fear that she was missing something.
So now when I get out of work I have to go to the pharmacy and pick up several prescriptions. Hopefully we'll find a good combination to get rid of these terrible sinus headaches.
In another department. Right after I got home the Beau and I headed out to the county courthouse to apply for our marriage license. :) Took longer than planned due to construction. It's almost funny, the road my company is off of is officially closed due to this construction. Well further down the road (heading to Mason) it is ALSO closed due to construction. So the Beau and I got a tour of some of the farm country around Mason. Was almost pretty. Saw horsies and mooshies, so not a total loss.
Found the courthouse easy enough, got a close parking spot, wandered in- the door we chose was the door closest to the clerk's office. We walked in, had the form almost all filled out- finished it, gave it to the nice lady to type and waited. We thought they would need a copy of the Beau's proof of divorce (he was married a couple-few years ago) but apparently they didn't. So now Friday he goes back to pick up the actual license- and then we can get married.
Wow.
