Danger Boy!
Feb. 15th, 2005 09:58 amOooh, little brat. At least he's not trying to kill me anymore. ;)
Recently the cat food tupperware container had to be moved from the top of the refrigerator as Leopolde kept knocking it off. This usually opened it all over the kitchen floor. Himself and The Grey would then begin to feast. At least, till mom saw what happened (oh and how come this only happens when I'm the only one home, the beau is going to start thinking I make all this up! ;) ).
So now the container is under the kitchen sink, the handles of the cupboard are rubber-banded together in an effort to keep them closed. Danger Boy! has expressed a curiosity for under the sink and has gotten in the cupboard on multiple occasions. So the handles were rubber-banded together.
Apparently, that's not good enough. Danger Boy! in the past would lie on his side playing with the door, making it bang and annoying mommy. Last night however I heard him playing with the door, then it was quiet, then I heard the rustling of plastic bags.
The cupboard above the frig has some bags on it and the boy likes to sleep up there. So initially I thought that he was snoozing. That is, until The Grey got up and was playing with the cupboard door. She doesn't do this. She's my good kitty. ;)
I go to investigate, glancing at the top of the cupboards. No Leo. Hmm, this isn't good. The only other place plastic bags are kept is under the sink. The rubber-band is still in place. I remove it and open the door.
Danger Boy! managed to get his skinny butt into the cupboard by opening the doors just enough- WITH the rubber-band in place. He's calmly sitting on plastic bags, the top off the cat food container, having Himself a little snack. He was most perturbed when I removed him.
The Grey thought it was most unfair that SHE didn't get to have an extra snack since HE did! He did, however, make it up by being extra cute- bringing me milk jug rings to toss for him to play fetch with, and curling up next to my leg while I cross-stitched. :)
Cute is a survival trait.
