Oooh, little brat. At least he's not trying to kill me anymore. ;)

Recently the cat food tupperware container had to be moved from the top of the refrigerator as Leopolde kept knocking it off. This usually opened it all over the kitchen floor. Himself and The Grey would then begin to feast. At least, till mom saw what happened (oh and how come this only happens when I'm the only one home, the beau is going to start thinking I make all this up! ;) ).

So now the container is under the kitchen sink, the handles of the cupboard are rubber-banded together in an effort to keep them closed. Danger Boy! has expressed a curiosity for under the sink and has gotten in the cupboard on multiple occasions. So the handles were rubber-banded together.

Apparently, that's not good enough. Danger Boy! in the past would lie on his side playing with the door, making it bang and annoying mommy. Last night however I heard him playing with the door, then it was quiet, then I heard the rustling of plastic bags.

The cupboard above the frig has some bags on it and the boy likes to sleep up there. So initially I thought that he was snoozing. That is, until The Grey got up and was playing with the cupboard door. She doesn't do this. She's my good kitty. ;)

I go to investigate, glancing at the top of the cupboards. No Leo. Hmm, this isn't good. The only other place plastic bags are kept is under the sink. The rubber-band is still in place. I remove it and open the door.

Danger Boy! managed to get his skinny butt into the cupboard by opening the doors just enough- WITH the rubber-band in place. He's calmly sitting on plastic bags, the top off the cat food container, having Himself a little snack. He was most perturbed when I removed him.

The Grey thought it was most unfair that SHE didn't get to have an extra snack since HE did! He did, however, make it up by being extra cute- bringing me milk jug rings to toss for him to play fetch with, and curling up next to my leg while I cross-stitched. :)

Cute is a survival trait.

I've never been the 'go crazy' type that has to have something fantabulous happen on Valentine's Day. Sure, I'm a sentimental sap, but Valentine's was never 'all that.'

Did you know that they make valentine's cards from cats to people? Yeah, so the beau got a card from both Sasha (the inside said something about being admired and fed) and from Leo ('the Greatest cat in the world! - typed, 'Just don't show Sasha this card' written in by me. :) ). Yes, terribly silly, but I thought it was fun. So there was also a card from me to the Beau.

When I got home I discovered that I had not been forgotten. Given the day that I had it was so very nice to come home and find a very sappy, sweet, made me sniffle card on our bed. Later I opened the frig and there was a little vase with three little red roses with some greenery and little daisies in it. More sniffles. So sweet of him to have gotten them for me and to come home between classes to deliver the card and roses. I figured, correctly as it turns out, that the roses had been left in the frig due to a certain four-legged creature that resides in our apartment.

I did convince Danger Boy! not to chew on them, I think he got the "you chew this you die" threat worked fairly well. The evening was only 'eh' though, the roses and card were great. But again with the mood swings. Yesterday seemed very much like a roller coaster. Happy, pissed, cheery, sniffly happy, annoyed, okay, down... No fun.

Something that has concerned me, and something I may want to look into is the connection between the Pill and depression. It's possible that what's going on with my moods is being contributed to by the Pill. I've noticed that I've gotten increasingly moody over the last couple of years, and cry more easily. There could be many factors tying into this- but I'm beginning to wonder if some of the down is a result of being on the Pill.

And speaking of being down- have you ever gotten news that makes you really happy, and yet kinda down at the same time? Learned of something this morning, but I can't really talk about it at this point. It doesn't really concern me, and I need to talk to the Beau about it before I talk here.

On the more positive front- I did work out last night, though it would seem I need to work out more. Anywho, tonight's plan is laundry, stitching and the viewing of something on TV. Will probably do some cleaning too. The apartment is very picked up (I organized my 'Organizer' over the weekend, so that's all properly arranged again) and I rather like how neat it is. Aside from my craft stuff spilling over in one corner...

So Sunday on the way home from the cat show I pop in the Phantom of the Opera movie soundtrack that [livejournal.com profile] frawg_angel gave me. I wanted the beau's opinion on the Phantom's voice.

He listened for a moment, shuddered, turned off the cd player, and looked at me "I hope they chose him for his looks."

Just made me giggle and I decided to share.
