Well that makes sense. With cats the thing tends to be worry about male cats spraying- and they will. That smell, I've heard, it damned near immpossible to get out. I've been lucky and haven't experienced it for myself.

My former housemates have a purebred GSD they were hoping to breed so he's entact. And yes, other male dogs have taken violent exception to him. I don't know how many times he's gotten attacked- and he's one of the mellowest dogs I know. He doesn't want to fight at all - but other dogs apparently think they have something to prove. What was actually kind of funny was watching a full grown pug try to go for Max's throat. The pug's mouth was just too small to get through Max's ruff!

My main concern with spaying/neutering is over population. I knew you weren't one of those 'oh, they should mate once for the experience before they get spayed/neutered' morons. Those are the ones that annoy me. You're waiting to improve the puppy- not make more. ;)

Haha, improve the puppy. Yep. We're the people who WANT him to have all the crazy Boy Dog characteristics. Which, of course, includes the leg-lifting -- he did it in the house once, completely at random, and he peed on Tobi, also once.

We did talk about what to do if Blitz accidentally got a girl pregnant. *gasp* We'd pay for her care and keep all the puppies if the owner insisted on letting the pregnancy run its course. Yes, all of them. Keep! Every one! Even if there were 10! Yikes :)

Not supposed to make me laugh like that at work! The image of lil Blitz peeing on Tobi... Oh that same pug... he would try to pee over where Max had gone, there were a couple times I thought he was going to tip over!

Almost a dozen Blitzdozers... you do have renters/home insurance, yes? ;) Poor Tobi might disown you though...

I knew you were good people!
