Well, I seem to have rebounded from the rebound, and from the bug that either the DH or I brought home.
Tuesday night was NOT pleasant. It's bad when you can't even keep water down. Ended up sleeping on the couch because laying flat was not workable. Spent much of the night either too hot or too cold. Sasha did her best to keep me warm (slept on my chest) and that was good when I was cold but when I was warm... yeah.
Wednesday I was forced to call in sick. I didn't want to- there was a big round table meeting with clients from 9 - 12 and I wanted to be here. (did I mention I found out about the round table on Tuesday? Yeah... yay communication!) The head and stomach were in agreement.
Spent almost all of Wednesday on the couch. Some sleeping, with the Sasha monster keeping me company. Much time spent with an ailing DH- though he was 'lucky' enough not to have a headache to go with his illness. I was the whiny one though, and he was good enough to coddle me. :) After he left for work I was snoozing on my right side and Sasha decided to come up and lie on my upturned left side. She used my shoulder as a chin rest, and purred and purred. It was just too cute. :)
Thursday I was back at work and feeling mostly better. Today, again at work- but feeling lots better. Still have a bit of a headache hanging out in the background- that's manageable though. Can't take meds- but I can cope with this. I'm in a rather up mood- likely because I'm not in pain. Amazing how that works isn't it?
Plus I'm now (back-stitching not included) a little over half-way done with the wedding cross-stitch that I've been working on. So that makes me happy. Am looking forward to a night of stitching and laundry (provided the DH got quarters). Yes, I'm looking forward to laundry. I'm weird. Normally I hate doing it (well, I like folding, again with the weird, I get it) and DH does the first bit and then I fold and put everything away. But I'm actually looking forward to it tonight.
