In brief...

Well, the weekend was wonderful. Had much fun going to Rocking Horse (and the dollar store she made me go to) with sarbah77. Finally got the right fabric to make another cross-stitch project for me mum.

Friday was my last day at my temp assignment and thus far I have no new assignments.

And I just found out that The Job I Really Want... with the company that interviewed me, said I was the #1 pick and then transferred the job to Southfield? Yeah, them... well apparently this job- one that was opened because someone wanted to go to Southfield- was filled by another employee transfer, and this one left a job open in... guess where now- yes, Southfield!

I give.

This mythical place is, theoretically, a little over an hour away- should highways not be under construction and should weather not be a factor.

I'm sorry the job front is being such an evil taunter for you.

Sorry I couldn't make it on Saturday, but I'm glad you had a good time. I did stitch on Saturday, in your honor. Some of my best work, of course! ;)

The job front... trying REALLY hard not to think about it. Either I'm terribly overqualified, or just can't get a job offer. Sucks.

Anywho, good that you stitched. We did miss seeing you. Perhaps for their next sale. ;)

Yes, perhaps next sale. :) Although they are threatening to send me back to Memphis again... but there's no point so I'm hoping not! Then again, I can stitch a lot if I go! *snickers*
