I have never actually seen "House". One of those programmes (Greys Anatomy and Scrubs being others) that I have decided not to watch. I cant think past Hugh Laurie as brilliant in Blackadder and as Stephen Frys comedy partner. For some reason every time I hear the "House" trailers on Hallmark, I just think that accent is horrible.
There's a fantastic story that Brian Singer actually thought Hugh Laurie was American when he heard the audition tape, was pretty pissed when he found out that Laurie was actually British.
Oh thats a good question. As I typed my original comment, I noticed they were all medical shows. And yes I could easily have added ER and Diagnosis Murder etc. Certainly I am very uneasy with the medical profession in general....."the TV carers" contrasts with the way doctors make money and I dont really regard them as "heroes". Hopefully its more than my bad feeling about doctors. "Boston Legal" could be added but ......hmm I dont much like lawyers either. But I think its mostly to do with the fact that TV has become so much of a formula. There is genuinely nothing "new" to see. Bring back Bonanza!!!!
That would be interesting. I could almost see it be something that happened in college- and House not remembering that it was her particularly because he was basking in his "legend" status and using it to sleep with a number of girls. *laughs*
