Obama's Letter Was Answer To A Little Boy's Request

My favorite part: "Sometimes I get a little nervous before talking in front of a crowd, but Flat Stanley helped me practice the speech," Obama wrote. "He made me recite it in front of him and then even gave me some advice so the speech would go smoothly. Flat Stanley is really a great coach."

I read that story last night and was thrilled by it. For Senator Obama to take the time out of his very busy schedule to respond to the request of some little kids shows what type of character he has. It's a very heartwarming story.

I have a feeling a staffer was involved... but that Obama read it, added to it, and signed off on it. Just the fact that it was personalized and really made that little boy's day is great.

oh yea a staffer had to be involved, but that staffer gave it to Obama and Obama took it and ran with it. It's just incredible.
