So last night was a get together for the local NaNoers (though our 'official' ML hasn't put in an appearance anywhere...) Was much fun. We had a lot of people whose ages ranged all over. One woman was having trouble with a scene- and luckily there were two or three gamers at the table who were able to help her out. The coffee shop we were at didn't have wireless, which we all appreciated, and grumbled about. Several times people reflexively tried to check something online. It was funny.

My story is going along pretty well. I was amused when what I thought would be a short scene turned out to be over 2000 words... Works for me!

The other result though? I'm really tired today... I've been hitting my stride word-wise at about 9:30 at night (yesterday aside). Then I keep going past 11, which is bad considering I usually want to be in bed by 10:30... So yeah, very sleepy today. Coffee good. :)

What the fuck kind of coffee shop doesn't have internet access? Hell, McDonalds has it now.

Heh, this is a coffee shop inside a bookstore. Most of us agreed that no internet actually made it easier to stick to just writing- fewer distractions! ;)

Good grief - you're doing GREAT!

After this week, I opted not to worry so much about NaNo - which is a shame because good grief do I have tons of stuff to work with now. ;-)
