Wow, actually posting on the weekend, how weird... *grins*
Things are going well. Friday night hubby and I headed over to Best Buy- see, earlier last week Apple released new Macs... for the same price as we paid. These had bigger HDs, faster processors, and twice the RAM. Thus we were not happy. Went to BB and got them to honor their 30 day price guarantee, and got $159 back (tax included). All we really wanted was the RAM upgrade. Even having them do that, we're still saving money. So it's all good. Besides, we like Scroeder and didn't want to delete all the stuff we'd already added in order to trade him in for a new one. New RAM will installed in a few weeks. We're waiting for hubby to et a few more paychecks before we go crazy(ier...). Plus I have to start thinking of things to get him for his birthday! He's the big 5-0 this year...
Other news... wrist still hurts, and I'm not listening to it terribly well. My bad.
Hmm, I think that's about all. Watched the movie Chaos (Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, and Ryan Phillipe). Interesting movie, two cops on the search for a bank robber. 'Course given the title you know it can't be that simple. They talk chaos theory, and there are some interesting twists and turns. Personally I was hoping to see a fight scene between Statham and Snipes. But it was not to be. Ah well. I'll just have to rent War (Statham and Jet Li) and enjoy their fights. ;)
OH! Help for next Saturday. I need to be out of the house for awhile. Hubby works Thursday, and Friday (which means he works until 7:30 Saturday morning). So he's going to come home and want to sleep. If I am home, and awake, I will undoubtedly make noise. So, I am looking for somewhere to be during the early part of the day... Ideas? Anyone want to host a stitch-n-bitch? Rocking Horse trip? *laughs* Just need something to keep me out of the house from around 10-11 am to 5 pm or so. :)
