The State of the Anne
Feb. 29th, 2008 11:30 amSo yeah, feeling a bit taller today. :) Not quite full grown, but closer.
Thank you for your kind words yesterday- they really helped!
I also got to spend some time with the hubby last night- who took me out to dinner, and then bought me books!! (Specifically "Greywalker" by Kat Richardson, and "Karavan" by Jennifer Roberson, and a giant book o'Crossword puzzles!)
Sasha cute- so this morning I'm returning to the dim bedroom to get dressed. Dim because hubby is still sleeping, and Sasha has joined him on the bed. (of course, my half of the bed is empty, but she's sleeping on his side at the foot of the bed....)
She's lying on her back, being all comfy. When she saw me she made this adorable little Mer-coo noise and reached her front paws out towards me! So cute! Not being able to resist I offered her my hand, she wrapped her paws around my wrist...
And bit my hand...
Not hard or anything, and she followed it with a lick, but still! I had to laugh, because honestly I was expecting it. She's rather particular about WHEN you're allowed to pet her. It was still utterly adorable.
Today is Friday, the hubby and I have few plans for the weekend- which will be good. And I have a plan of attack for the future to deal with feeling short. I am very good with making plans, however, it's the carry through that I have issues with. But I'll keep working on it.
