In other news...
Jul. 12th, 2007 03:30 pmI'm still here, doing more reading and commenting than posting (obviously!).
The good- having a product replacement plan for one's iPod. George, my trusty iPod was just over a year old and he just got tired and stopped working on July 2. This was of the sad because July 3 I was planning to go to my folks' place and I *needed* music to drive to (they live about 1 hour and 40 minutes away). So I headed off to Best Buy, where I bought the thing (after searching my apartment from top to bottom trying to find the prp paperwork- which it turns out I really didn't need as they could just look it up by my phone number- however she did thank my for being prepared).
Right, where was I? Oh yes, at Best Buy where they just give you a store credit for the amount you purchased the item for- the theory being that you'll use this to buy a new one. I was expecting they'd just give me another of the same kind I had. Well, as it turns out in the one year that I'd had George the prices changed. For the price of a new product replacement plan I was able to get a new iPod that was *double* George's size! So instead of having a 2gb Nano, I now have a 4gb! (I had also JUST filled George before he died, so I didn't think I needed to get a bigger one- till next year...) And it's PINK! Yes, I got the bright magenta pink one. His name is Ringo. :) So this is very happy making.

mightyafrodite tomorrow- must get some time in before she moves away. :( This visit will be of the good- just like the old days when we were roomies. :)
What else is going on... not a whole lot. I'm actually getting some reading done! *gasps* Scary huh? I've found myself not wanting to watch TV at night and instead listen to music while I stitch or read. I've been in a really good mood since yesterday- for no real reason, just happy! Not that I'm complaining! ;) So last night while listening to Debussy I tried to get Leo to dance with me. He was very sure that he wanted NOTHING to do with this. Kyle was curious about the idea, and it looked like fun, but he just didn't get it and ran off to harass Leo. This meant that since the Hubby was home that he got drafted into dancing around the living room with me. I would just like to point out that Debussy is not the best dance music out there... So there was music playing and dancing- but the two didn't really go together. But it was fun- and made me laugh.
