Santa... Cthulu... I just can't get it right!

Oh Great Cthulhu!

I have been an extremely diligent devotee this year.

In November, I stopped seidhrcat from defiling Lovecraft's grave (-20 points). In September, I rammed a ship into you (sorry Cthulhu!) (-1000 points). Yesterday, I exposed sexnazi to soul-rending horrors (250 points). In October, I sacrificed jul3z to Cthulhu (500 points). When the stars were right, I burnt my copy of the Necronomicon (-75 points). In February, I wore an Elder Sign (-10 points).

In short, I have been very bad (-355 points) and deserve to be fed to the ghouls.

Day's almost over- thank goodness. And I have fun to look forward to! Got a call this morning (that I heard on the answering machine when I got home for lunch) that my older brother M and his wife adopted another dawgie. This one is named Griffon and is, if I heard correctly, a Manchester Terrier/Stafordshire Terrier mix. But I may have that wrong. So once I touch base with them this evening I'm planning to head to their place to meet the little lad, and visit with Codie and Cricket- their other dawgies.

The husband decided I needed a heart attack, or something. Yesterday he turned in paperwork for the nursing program- which he thought were due 12/7. Turns out they were due 12/1. So he wasn't sure if he was still in the program or not. So, being me, I get all worried and start thinking of other things that we could do, and wondering if this meant he would be delayed a term... Panicking because of how worried he was. Only to find out today, when he went in to talk to them about it, that the 12/1 date is only so they can be sure to have everything by the time classes start in January. *breathe* The administrator was actually really happy with the husband's paperwork because it was complete and thus could be entered and filed. He was kind of incredulous that this was a big deal- and so she showed him the hyoooge stack of paperwork belonging to people that had to be contacted because it was incomplete. So we're all good there. And I'm breathing again. Which is usually a good thing. :)

Had a good weekend. Went to a resale shop here in town that I've seen for ages but never went in. It was... okay. Not the greatest, and it looks like the woman is mostly selling her own stuff. We did find a Christmas present for someone there though, so that's all good. Not sure we'll be back though. A door, or so, down was her 'indoor rummage sale' that was of slightly lower quality than the other store. Not bad, but pretty typical for a rummage sale.

Overall though, things are okay. And I get to go play with puppies tonight!! (okay, dawgies!)
