LJ Interests meme results

1. border collies:
   I like Dogs, and the former roomie mightyafrodite has a part border collie. Thus sparked my learning more about them.
2. dog shows:
   They're fun to watch. A former roomie referred to them as dog beauty pageants... but really, I love animals and seeing all the different dogs breeds in one place is neat.
3. faeries:
   They go hand in hand with fantasy and imagination.
4. genealogy:
   It kinda goes with the whole 'I have a history degree' thing. I like knowing where my family came from- though granted, I haven't been able to follow it all that far back.
5. jason statham:
   He's just hawt...
6. marriage:
   Umm, 18 days.
7. no kill shelters:
   Again with the liking of animals and preferring that adoption be chosen over killing. Even if adoption takes awhile.
8. red wings:
   Hockey!! Love Red Wing hockey. It's my brother's fault.
9. stargate:
   Again, history, imagination, and the possibilities. I think I would enjoy playing in a Stargate roleplaying game.
10. young adult writing:
    I have delusions that I write decently and that one day I will have novels published that are directed towards young adults. Or at least, that used to be the plan. Not quite so sure it is anymore. Once upon a time there seemed to be little out there aimed at young adults- less that was magical. Umm, since right around the time of Harry Potter that has changed drastically.
