Not much to report on at the moment. Today was busy with work. See, we send out these self-advocacy manuals for people who deal with special ed kids. Each manual consists of a 3 ring binder and the inserted pages- and each weighs about 4 lbs. Now, these don't come put together, the inserts are in one box, the binders in another.
Okay fine, putting the books together isn't that big a deal. However, and I've known this, they've decided to edit serveral chapters. Okay, fine, these edits are completed and last week we got the new copies from the printer. One of the people at the office is doing a big time presentation and needs 250 of the edited manuals by end of the day Thursday.
Up to this point, all this is fine. However, all those binders and inserts are not stored at the office, they are in a storage shed. Okay fine, I don't have a key. The only two people who do are the woman I'm covering and her/my boss. Guess who was out most of last week? So I didn't actually get any of the binders until today. And I only got half at that.
Okay fine.
So, I'm going to be quite busy at work for the next few days- so if I'm not around much- you'll know why.
Tonight I get home from work and changed to work out. I'm doing rather well, managing an hour on the Ellipse burning 800 calories. Quite proud of myself actually. Now, when this will translate to visible body differences, who knows?
Then there was the phone call with the beau... it got emotional, but in the end everything got worked out.
Oh, and you know how you (well, those of us in the US) can request a copy of our ccredit reports from each of the three big companies once per year? (Yeah, wow, we're actually being given our OWN histories!) Well, I went ahead and did that, paying the $5.95 to get my credit number. Yeah, that's some good news. Gonna have a leeetle bit of work to fix that. Joy. Ah well, at least now I know what it is.
Okay, time to go do something else for awhile. See ya when work stops being hellish.
