Feb. 24th, 2005 11:26 amPress release fun! that's my main task today, to get a press release ready. I love the instructions 'Please help me make this make sense.' Uh... okay, what's it about?
Heading to Nimble Needles tonight to see if I can FINALLY get the right fabric for my project for my mom. I've gone through all the fabric I have and have made 'assignments' as to which chart it will go with. So my stuff is in a pseudo 'to do' order. Yeah.. right.
Hopefully tonight I will be able to FIND Nimble Needles- the directions I got this time are slightly different that the ones from before. Apparently putting E Grand River makes a difference. Who knew? Plus I have more time tonight- they're actually open until 8 pm.
Whooo, last night I wasn't going to work out- too lazy. Then mid-evening I got a call from my mom and we talked about some wedding stuff. She HAD to ask about my exercise 'program' (since she and I have been talking about it) so as soon as I got off the phone I forced myself to do a lil bit. I felt better afterwards- so I'm relatively glad I did it.
Ah yes, the mom call. She called to let me know that she was going to be in Chicago this weekend to attend a conference (Translate that to- there is a conference and we will be shopping and eating). She wanted to make sure I wasn't planning to see her. Now, initially my thought was 'we talked about wedding shopping in March/April.' She DID bring this up right after asking about my exercise plan and some wedding talk. This morning I'm having breakfast and see the envelope for my mom's birthday card. *headtable* My mom's birthday is this Sunday. Yeah, that's probably what she meant about plans for the weekend. How stupid am I? I knew her birthday was this weekend last weekend when I went out to buy her a card- I just kinda sorta got distracted and it wasn't at the forefront of my mind last night. Heh heh, oops. I'm just glad that I do actually have a card to send her- and it will be going out in today's mail. This way it should be waiting for her when she gets back from Chicago on Sunday. Silly Anney. Though, I do have to say that I have the best mom.
Last night watched "Trust" a DVD of Ani DiFranco's concert in Washington DC last May. Was pretty good- mostly the same stuff she sang at the Vote Dammit! tour stop I saw here in Lansing. But still, rather fun. Not a whole lot of flashy camera work- which was nice. The vocals for the opening song were pretty much drowned out by her guitar- which I didn't like, but the rest of the DVD was better.
Tonight, Nimble Needles, Angel Season 1 and stitching. Sounds good to me (oh yeah, and I must east at some point....). Oh, and speaking of eating...
Danger Boy story!!
Apparently the Max Cat Senior and the Nutro Lamb Flavor, are the preferred varieties. For those packages were the only completely empty packages though a total of 6 (all different) were pulled from the bag that was under the sink. The bag was still under the sink, but apparently Danger Boy! got peckish and decided to go hunting.
Note to self- always worry when you get home and the cats don't scream for food.
I'm now convinced that The Grey pretends to hate Danger Boy! when humans are around, but in private considers him her foolish flunky. I'm sure she's the one that convinced him to get the food out (there's no way her fluffiness could squeeze into the cabinet)- for I KNOW she partook of the bounty.
