Today's Movie Review
Jan. 21st, 2005 10:42 amBill Engvall: A Decade of Laughs: Not what I thought it was. Funny, yes, but basically it's 16 minutes of his comedy music videos. I need to read the 'fine print' more carefully.
Funny Ladies of British Comedy: Again, not what I was expecting, and I was disappointed. I had thought it was stand-up comedy, instead it was a 'special' praising the works of several British commediennes (ie Mollie Sugden, Dawn French, Prunella Scales, Judi Dench, Patricia Routledge and Felicity Kendall). For what it was- it was okay. The clips they showed from the 'Britcoms' were funny- but again, I thought it was stand up and it wasn't. Need to read more carefully.
Hopefully will have better luck next time. :)
