Bleah

Not feeling great. Didn't sleep much last night- my brain just wouldn't turn off. Tossed and turned so much I finished the night on the couch- wanted the hubby to get some sleep.

Today in the office it's musical coughs with all who is here (save for Mr. Boss) coughing in their own key. Mr. Boss doesn't have the couch but his arthiritis is acting up badly. I'm not sure who is better off...

Then I put in for two vacation days (actual paid vacation... how weird!) and find out Mrs. Boss is going to be in Seattle that week. Ugh. But after some negotiation with Mr. Boss she got him to agree to cover the phones so she and I can both be gone.

Although I'm not actually going anywhere for vacation- but the days off fall during the hubby's spring break from school, so it seemed like a good time to spend time together. But if it turned out I couldn't take those days it wouldn't be like a huge vacation plan was ruined.

The whole idea of paid time off is just weird though. ;)

Well, maybe once global warming hits a bit harder... Till then Sweden is a bit too cold for this woman. ;)

I think you'd be surprised if you know how cold or warm Sweden really is. You live in northern USA, right? I bet you can have colder days in the winter than we do sometimes. Don't worry about global warming; it has already started to affect Sweden. Weather lately has been weird. Now we've had two crappy summers in a row with lots of rain. I hope we get a nice one this year. Right now, we have plenty of snow, but tonight it's raining. In February!

Yeah, take our labor and social laws and shove them in the face of your weird president, so that he can make USA the good and safe country of justice for all inhabitants it could be. :)

Northern USA- yes, but in Michigan, which is greatly protected by the Great Lakes. So winters hover below freezing- but not too cold. Usually. We have no snow at present.

I don't think it's legal for me to say what I'd like to do to the president... He's not exactly my favorite person.

Ah, but I think I could tell him a thing or two. I am not American, so what can he do about it, really? :) First off, take a few billion $ from NASA and the military forces and put them in the social system and make sure everyone can get a health insurance, so that little children can get the health care they need.
Next step would be to start the same type of social and labor systems as we have here with all the laws and insurances that are included. and if he doesn't do these things, I'll ... I'll ... call him a tyrannic and selfish terrorist, who can't think further than to his own nose tip. *g* I am so glad I am not an American. Amen. No offense meant. I might consider becoming an American at some point in the future, when you guys have a more sensible president. Will that ever happen?
