Bleah

Not feeling great. Didn't sleep much last night- my brain just wouldn't turn off. Tossed and turned so much I finished the night on the couch- wanted the hubby to get some sleep.

Today in the office it's musical coughs with all who is here (save for Mr. Boss) coughing in their own key. Mr. Boss doesn't have the couch but his arthiritis is acting up badly. I'm not sure who is better off...

Then I put in for two vacation days (actual paid vacation... how weird!) and find out Mrs. Boss is going to be in Seattle that week. Ugh. But after some negotiation with Mr. Boss she got him to agree to cover the phones so she and I can both be gone.

Although I'm not actually going anywhere for vacation- but the days off fall during the hubby's spring break from school, so it seemed like a good time to spend time together. But if it turned out I couldn't take those days it wouldn't be like a huge vacation plan was ruined.

The whole idea of paid time off is just weird though. ;)

Hopefully tonight is a better night than last.
Not going anywhere during vacation time sounds just devine to me. Just taking that time to rest .... you surely could use it. Just make sure to throw some fun things in there too. :)

Well my hubby will be on spring break from school- and though he has to work one of those nights it'll still mean a bit more time spent together. To catch you up- I work day shift 8-5 and he's going to school full time (to be a nurse) and works 4pm to 12 am. So there are often days when all we see of each other is the lump next to the other in bed. So since he'll be home those days it'll be nice to spend the time with him.

Hmm... and depending, maybe we'll go see his daugther and my step-grandbaby... (we got married Oct 8, 2005 and she was born Nov 8, 2005).

Wow, you really don't get to spend any time with each other. Good on him for going to school, btw!
And congrats on getting married! And on the grandbaby too. That must be so much fun! :)

I knew there were posts I forgot to respond to...

No, we don't get a whole lot of time to spend together- but I like to joke that it keeps us from getting bored with each other. ;)

And thanks, I'm quite enjoying being married, and it was fun to go from 'step-mom' to Grandma in one month. Though we don't get to see nearly enough of his daughter and the baby.
