Not happy...

So, we won't accept food and water from Canada- but gas from Europe? SURE!

I know we need gas, many places are out- HOWEVER! We could also use some other aid that the government has turned down. ARE THEY THINKING?!

What's more, there are massive oil reserves in Alberta and Canada's Atlantic coast. We have pipelines to the U.S. But no - they're going to sail it in from Europe.

At the very least, the massive rebuilding effort will require the U.S. to lift their tariffs on our softwood lumber. The sheer volume of wood needed will be far too much for the American industry to handle.

'Cause we don't like things that make sense. *grrs* Whole thing makes me grumpy! I mean really! The situation in NOLA/Gulf coast isn't bad enough, we have to add being stupid on top of it?!

Yeah... once upon a time I think those concepts did go together. Not so much anymore.
