As I mentioned in my last post- professional massages are good. And as I was told in comments there- this is akin to saying 'water is wet' so duh! *laughs* True, but knowing it logically and knowing it from experience required comment on my part. :)

Saturday was a good day! Got some snuggles with the hubs, and then went to visit [livejournal.com profile] sarbah77. She taught me how to knit. :) I kinda knew how to cast on (but the way she showed me is WAAAY better) and almost knit... but know I definitely know how to do that- and purl too! Was a very good afternoon- with excellent company!

I had to leave a leetle early because I promised the husband I'd take him to dinner. Called him before heading out, and then again from the parking lot once I was home. He came running down and we were off to Red Robin (his choice) for dinner. I was in such a good mood all day/evening, and still feeling quite relaxed from my massage.

Sunday was a good day for relaxing. :) I finally got all our cds into iTunes, and created new playlists... then Ringo began to exhibit new problems (the battery had been an on/off issue), basically when I clicked on shuffle the first song would flash, then go right to the second. hit skip and it would go to four, then hit five but keep going to six. Clicking back would play five, but trying to do so again to get to four would result in it skipping back to six. I tried a reset... and just decided not to bother. Instead we trooped over to Best Buy and I traded Ringo in for a upgrade! Paul is one of the iPod 'Classics' that's got 80 GB of room. Ringo only had 4 GB... So much of last night was spent getting Paul all set up- it was actually a lot of fun. He's bigger than a Nano, but I don't really like the look of the new Nana's anyway. So it's all good, and didn't cost much!

Now to get through three days of work before vacation!! How are you? *offers hugs and a sunshiney smile to all who need one or both*

Weirdness

Anyone else experiencing some lj / gmail weirdness? I am getting my comments mailed- but there has always been a link in the e-mail, going back to the original comment/entry. Now, the link is there half the time, and just not there the other half.

So I get "replied to in which you said:"

rather than "replied to your LiveJournal post in which you said:"

So, is it just me?

Right then, so I go to get the mail today and see that the post office tried to deliver a package to me... I wasn't expecting anything so- Mystery Package! Neat. :) Who doesn't love a mystery package?

The only thing is that It's addressed to Anne 'Maiden Name' not Anne 'Married Name' so I'm all kinds of confused. Here I am trying to figure out who has my mailing address, but doesn't know my married name? I'll find out tomorrow when I go to pick it up. But I'm quite curious.

On a totally unrelated note, here's yet another way we know Sasha is MY cat. We have two dining room chairs that we tend to use (The other is a coat stand / stuff catcher). Sasha likes to sleep on the two chairs we do have- especially when one of us gets up (warm that way). When the hubby returns and sees that she's taken his chair he tries to move her, and she yells and digs her claws into the chair mat. There have actually been times when he simply uses the other chair in order to not have to fight her. Me? (this just happened) I come back from say the bathroom, see she's on my chair. So I move the other chair, call her name, and if I'm lucky she'll get up and jump to the other chair. If not so lucky I have to pick her up to move her- but she doesn't yell or dig claws in. *laughs* Apparently Sasha has decided that she has seniority over DH....

Well, she HAS been in my life longer than he has....
