Jan. 24th, 2008 11:08 amIn very sad Anne-land news, Ringo iPod expired sometime yesterday.
Today I will have to take advantage of my warranty and take him to Best Buy to get another one. The problem with Ringo is that his screen will sometimes freeze. In the past this was solved by my plugging him in and all was good. Lately though the screen holds so that when the song switches- the info on the screen doesn't change to reflect this. Yesterday the screen froze in 'play' mode but there was no sound. Considering I listen to my iPod every time I'm in the car alone, every walk I take with Kyle, AND when I work out... It's needed. Not money I really want to spend, but considering that I DO use it every day- I think it'll be worth the $30 or so it takes to buy a new warranty.
Last time this happened (when George's battery died) I managed to Upgrade! from 2gb to 4gb (yeah, I get Nanos, though I really don't like the looks of the re-design much) I wonder if I can do that this time around too? Could be fun (as I ran out of room recently and had to remove a couple songs from playlists...) This is also what happened when George died- I had just gotten to the point of having too many songs, and he pfft out on me. Now the same thing is happening to Ringo... Makes me wonder. (Oh and the new one will probably be named Paul...)
This is my excuse for not spending time with the Ellipse last night. :)
In other news, I think I'm getting a cold. Big deal you say? Considering that aside from my migraines I haven't gotten sick in several years? Yes, is big, annoying deal, to me anyway.
EDITED!!!
Rumors about the demise of Ringo iPod have been exaggerated. He was only in a coma, and has since been revived, though is on life-support (while the battery recharges). Thanks
mynxcat!
