Bad- so last night I went to the local grocery store to pick up a prescription and something for dinner. I was in the store all of ten minutes. In that time someone HIT MY CAR! Okay, so the damage isn't too bad, and it's all on the front bumper- BUT STILL! HIT MY CAR! I took pictures with my camera phone, sadly this particular parking lot does not have surveillance cameras. :( Had to call the car insurance company, and the chick who took my info will be passing it on to claims. Still- MAD! Hit my car! My wonderful, reliable Mojo! (and when I tried to call the hubby to let him know- he being at home- he was unavailable... which didn't help the mad part. Not his fault, but yanno.
Good- went to the eye doctor today. Apparently my prescription has not changed since I got my last eye check three years ago. The contacts are really scratched, but I don't actually need to replace them just yet. Which allowed me to get a pair or cheapo (but I like!) glasses. My old glasses have been hanging around for the past 15 years- and that prescription has changed. It has occurred to me that should something happen rendering my unable to wear my contacts I would be in trouble. I can't drive or do much of anything with my old glasses. So I am getting very cute new glasses. :) Cool place too- women owned and run. I'm looking forward to getting them.
In other news- meeting with the Nano writing group tonight. Should be good (for those reading this who are IN said group- I reserved two tables at Gone Wired for our usuage).
