Now it's Tuesday...

Oh, and I have a migraine. Which makes the numerous weather.com e-mails in my box predicting rain/thunderstorms no real surprise. More of a well, duh, my head coulda toldja that! However- hello- JANUARY! in Michigan! Thunderstorms? Huh wha? And what's this- a tornado warning? Wow.
So yes, thunderstorms. Last night I woke up around 1 am and hear a beep (the beep was only once, and not what woke me). I wait, listening, trying to figure out what has just beeped. Then it beeped again and the air cleaner started working. Surprisingly enough, my brain functioned enough to let me know that this meant the power had gone off. Sure enough, looked up to the alarm clock and it was blinking 12:00 at me.
I had to move Sasha (she was lying on the covers between me and the side of the bed, and is easier to move than the husband...). Still, she voiced her displeasure at this. Stumbled out to the kitchen area to find my cell phone (looking at an analog clock face like on my watch was beyond me). Find cell phone, reprogram coffee pot (hey, I have my priorities!), stop by bathroom, back to bed, reprogram alarm clock. However, I apparently did something wrong with the coffee programing and it wasn't ready first thing. There was just enough time to get it brewed and poured into a travel cup before I had to leave.
And despite all this- I'm in a good mood. Go figure.
