1 Father started college, but dropped out to help younger siblings make their way through. He’s still one of the smartest guys I know.

4 Only one on one time I felt like I got from mom, so I was determined not to learn how to read for myself!
5 I took baton as a young’in, then piano and ballet for about a minute.
6 There were 6 of us and flying pricey, so we drove most everywhere, and overnights involved low cost (for 6 people) hotel/motels.
7 With this one I went with the ‘bought’ bit, my parents never bought used clothes for us, but I did get a lot of hand-me-downs from my sister.
8 Well, not as a little girl, but by the time I was 8-9 (I think) my sister got her own room, which meant I got my own room.
9 Well, once all the sibs were at college, and Elder Sister M didn’t need the TV they bought for her first year of college… I ended up with a TV in my room and two VCRs. Yeah, I don’t know why two.
10 I was 4 (to be 5 in less than a month) and we were heading to Florida to see the grandparents for Christmas. I recently learned from my mother that she had been concerned about how I would react- and I leaned back in my chair after take off, grinned and said “This is the life.” *laughs* Oh Little Anne…

12 In terms of actual dollar amounts, no, aware that the heat was kept ‘low at night’ so as to not have the bill go through the roof- yes.
