My Weekend- In Brief
Oct. 29th, 2007 04:50 pmFriday night- came home from work. Slightly sprained right wrist.
Saturday- cleaned up house in honor of company (and because it was raining). Stopped raining, but company can't come over. Disappointed (but totally understand!!) No rain=Dog Park! Walk dog. Meet people we know, walk with people. Note: paths muddy and covered in wet slippery leaves.
Black lab dog (NOT my dog)- comes running from the side, tries to maneuver around people. Fails. Dog met back of knees. Anne go boom! Anne's right ankle says NO BAD! Result- per Nurse Nelson's investigation- I have a very badly sprained right ankle. Apparently it was jealous of the wrist.
Sunday- go see parents and brothers, their wives, nephew, and mom sister- whom I haven't seen in many, many years. Can't walk well. Can't carry baby. :( Nurse Perry (AKA Mom) agrees with Nurse Nelson's assessment. Oh, and the developing bruises are pretty.
Monday- wearing hiking boots to work since they are the only thing that fits over the ace bandaged wrapped ankle. And OW! as a side note...
Should I point out I didn't actually need to buy new bandages? I already had two properly sized for wrist wrapping and one perfect for ankles. Yeah, Momma didn't name me Grace.
