Hello! And now for an update...
Hubby and I had a date night this past Friday- as he actually had the night off!! This is the first time in quite a long while. New job=new schedule=every other Friday off! Holy wow! So we went to dinner and to see Stardust. I approve. It's a very pretty fairy tale. And I must say, in slightly obscure fashion for those that haven't seen it... When Tristan gets his hair cut and it ends up longer than it started? Well, I want that person doing my hair! ;) Michelle Pfeiffer is always just so gorgeous.
Then things just kind of started to go wrong... Not in a big way, just little things all over the place. Hubby had to work Saturday and Sunday nights, and due to things ended up getting out of work late both nights. He was also stressed to the gills due to a test on Monday, and a project being due, not to mention the stuff from work. None of the stuff was that big of a deal, it was just the number of little things that kept going wrong. Like getting home, changing and five minutes later (while making dinner) managing to get BBQ sauce all over the pink shirt I'd just put on. So it just kind of kept piling up. Yesterday hubby managed to get a flat tire on his way to class.
Although, I think that actually broke the cycle... Hubby was off last night and we had a really good evening together. So, cautiously hopeful the bad luck is diminished. However, I'm *hungry*!! I have to have some blood work done, and of course it's fasting required. And the lab doesn't open until 8, so there was no way I could go before work. So I'm planning to go during lunch and hope it doesn't take too long. I've gone recently after work and it's taken maybe five minutes to get in and out. So here's to hoping it doesn't take too long and I can pick up lunch on my way back to work.
But overall I'm feeling pretty cheerful. How are the rest of you?
(oh, and one last mention of my address poll in case you missed it:
http://jadecat.livejournal.com/243770.html I'm linking against because I have over 150 friends and only 28 of ya'll answered... so here's another chance. And honest, I'm perfectly fine with 'No, thanks' answers ;) )
