Hello again, it's time for me to crawl out of my hole and post.
First off- thank you to everyone who posted congrats to my hubby. He was most pleased, and embarrassed a little, by all your well wishes. At the moment he's still doing that job search thing. Complicated by the fact that no matter what job he gets it has to be flexible come fall term.
In other news- well, there really isn't any other news. I really, really miss being able to log on and read from work. They're not monitoring my web time, really, but they are paying more attention. So I may make slight posts now and again (and occasionally read) but I can't spend nearly the time I used to spend. Would be nice if they'd come up with more work for me in the meantime, but no.
Umm, the animals are all still here. Not for lack of trying on Leo's part. He's become obsessed with getting out into the hallway. He's also doing the usual getting into stuff thing. Boredom and Leo is not a good combination. Sasha's being her usual perfect self. *grins* Not buying it huh? Ah well. Kyle is doing pretty well in his Rabble Rouser class. Though there's one dog he doesn't seem to like. Of the four dogs in class - three are black and white border collie mixes. They could be brothers, I swear. The fourth is a golden color muttly. Guess which one Kyle doesn't like? Apparently, he DOES think you can discriminate based on color. I've tried to explain it to him.... Honest. Of course, the other two dogs were pretty much ignoring the pretty little girl dog the instructor brought with her. The goldeny mutt was making good friends with her and I think Kyle got jealous. Then he got to go meet her and had to be over enthusiastic and rude so she snapped at him. Poor boy had to hide behind momma's legs. Then he wanted to play but wasn't really sure about it. I am glad that he responded the way he did to her snapping at him. Better than fighting back.
Hmm, that's pretty much it. I've been reading a lot more. Been working on cross stitch too.
Oh and still wanting to to a Saturday Craft Day. Just have to figure a few things out.
