Blog for Choice
Jan. 22nd, 2007 03:21 pm"On January 22nd - the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade - we asked pro-choice bloggers to join us in a day of activism for choice. Blog for Choice Day is a chance to raise the profile of reproductive rights issues in the blogosphere and the media, and to let everyone know that a woman's right to choose is nonnegotiable."
I am quite firmly pro-choice, and as a couple other of my friends have pointed out, this does not equate to pro-abortion. I firmly believe that every woman has the right to decide, for herself, whether or not to continue with a pregnancy. Truth be told- I don't like abortion, I wish that it was a choice that women never took, that it wasn't seen as necessary, that there were no accidental pregnancies, that each child was loved and wanted. That's not the case, or the world we live in. So I find that I can only be pro-choice.
I don't insist that everyone agree with me- but of course, I do prefer it. I do so love to be right. ;)

I'm not screening comments, nor locking them. But I would appreciate it if there was no drama, my mind is made up on this and I will not be changing my mind.
