Oooh... surprise surprise... Yeah, right.

Third Way Liberal

You scored 71% Personal Liberty and 33% Economic Liberty!

A third way liberal believes in little to moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. They tend to be opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, and what they may consider to be a corporate state or rogue capitalism. They generally support personal liberty and believes in a social safety net or welfare state. They support self-ownership and privacy. Third way liberals are essentially the "mainstream" left and left of center.

Okay, so those of you with gmail- you know sometimes it offers links at the top of your inbox? Stuff that's somehow relevant to your e-mail? I personally love the spam links, varying recipes for using spam and so on...

Anywho, this was at the top of my page just a few minutes ago:

Sorta...

I'm feeling rather posty today, aren't I? Ah well, some days are just like that.

In movie news- two I highly recommend- "Crank" and "District B13." The latter is in French, but don't let that stop you. ;) Oh, and don't watch "District B13" dubbed into English, unless you really need a good laugh. Sure, they got the words right- but the voices?! Oh Lord...

Anywho- both high action!! movies. Crank, for those that don't know, is about a hit man who is injected with this poison that will kill him if his adrenalin gets too low. So therefore he has to stay pumped up ALL THE TIME! while searching for the guy that poisoned him. Is GREAT fun! Still at the theaters, hubby and I had gift certificates courtesy Mr & Mrs Boss. Jason Statham is the 'hero' and for a bit there he's running around in nothing but a hospital gown... And let's just say it's a NICE sight... :)

Right, action movie, with comedy too. There were several laugh out loud moments, and those in the theater properly laughed out loud. It's not a great movie, but it is a hell of a lot of fun. And the MUSIC! OH MY GOD! At one point he's in a cab- he's starting to slow down, this is bad- so he has the driver crank the music... Which is a cover of Achey Breaky Heart... Yeah, the music so helps make this movie.

Highly recommended if you like your action flicks.

Similarly, "District B13" rocks my socks. Two guys team up to save the world (or at least, a large portion of Paris) from exploding. There's a blond and a brunette, I think this is so you don't get confused during action sequences as they move very alike. These guys are coursers- going up and down building, up and down people, just going, going, going... And built. They look like they could actually kick your ass. And the whole jumping up, grabbing a pipe and then going feet first through a window above a door is just cool. Oh, and there was a girl (sis to the Brunette) who wasn't totally useless eye candy! I approve. But it really needs to be watched in French. That said, I've never heard French spoken so angrily. It was neat.

Yeah, excellent action flicks, both of them. B13 was from Netflix- and so absorbed me that I couldn't even stitch while watching it. Wow.

In other news... I came home from lunch and apparently hubby decided Kyle no longer needed to be crated... Except, Kyle got bored, or was attacked... A full box of kleenex was successfully defeated, as were the cheap sunglasses the husband had (that he didn't like anyhow), and the cat toy with feather. Not to mention the couch cushions going all over the place. And the box I have my BPAL imps in was moved from the coffee table to the couch. Oh and the shoes, apparently those shoes were made for walking- walking themselves individually around the apartment. One of which was one of my brand new $95 Mizunos... Lucky for the husband the shoe was merely moved and not chewed on. And yes, I blame the husband (and myself) because the Kyle was bored. Bored and had stuff to entertain himself with. I blame me because he didn't get a good walk yesterday- so had pent up energy. I blame the hubby because if Dog had been crated he would have chewed up HIS stuff- not defenseless boxes of Kleenex.

In all, I'm not finding it kind of funny- and the stuff that was totally destroyed didn't have any particular value to us. The sunglasses cost like $4 and they were just ugly. The Kleenex bow was purchased at a Kroger 10/$10 sale. It was just such a mess! Lucky for dog he's cute, and has a mommy that knows it's not all his fault. Though I did hold up the kleenex and when he tried to sniff them told him no. So tonight when I get home we're going for a LONG walk/run- to be honest, we could both really use it.

Speaking of... I don't know how all the people on my list feel about tarot readings, I personally think they can be quite useful in giving one somethings to think about. That said, I highly recommend readings by [livejournal.com profile] deyaniera. A lot.
