A post with more content then a mere meme! Okay...
Today is the hubby's birthday, yay, happy birthday hubby! Sadly, he had a pa evaluation today, and work tonight- so I haven't really seen him today. Last night was his home early night, so we celebrated then. I made him spaghetti for dinner, as requested, and purchased cherry cheescake, also as requested. For his birthday I also got him Buffy season 6, and Al Franken's Truth book. The fun part, if you're me, is that I have had both for over a month now. One hanging out in my car, and the other hanging out in the bureau I'm slowly working on refurbishing.
He was muchly surprised, and after watching an episode of Gillmore Girls (coincidentally Rory's birthday) we watched "Once More With Feeling" the Buffy musical. Hubby had never seen it before and absolutely loved it. Though he did rewind the demon's dance a few times ebcause he had to point things out. I was highly amused.
Also amusing- whenever an occasion calls for the mailing of cards the card from his mom and the one from mine arrive on the same day. Without fail they will arrive together. This just amuses me to no end.
Lessee... today has been pretty good so far. The bosses have just recently left for Spring Break. So it'll pretty much just be me in the office, which I rather enjoy.
Also of the plus, when I went home for lunch I took about 15 minutes to snooze on the couch and Leo decided to join me! LEO! He's not the world's cuddliest cat, though he's friendly and likes to play. I've figured it out though- if I'm lying down and he jumps up to me my first instinct has been to pet him- so he leaves. However, if he jumps up and I just let him sniff and lick my hand he's more likely to asctually stay and snuggle. Weird. Now that I know this I will be using it to my advantage!
Umm... I think that's about it for now.
Oh no, wait- I put up some pictures the other day- so here's a Leo ina-box. Note the actual height of the box is (less than 2")
