Notebook Computers

So for my friends in the know about these things... my work is having a garage sale. Now I've been looking for a notebook computer for awhile- but the costs have always prevented actually buying one.

However, work is selling two in their garage sale and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a reasonable price would be for them (the Mrs Boss is accepting bids and didn't list any prices). The notebooks in question are described as:

Compaq Armada Notebook PP2060

Compaq Contura 430C Notebook

Any ideas? I have no idea what software, if any, is on them.
