So, last night was an oddity for me. Hubby had to work- meaning he missed the first session of one of his classes. Knowing how stressed he is (already, and term started yesterday...) I offered to go to his class and see if there was any paperwork (syllabus, assignment) I could pick up for him. Now, the class started at 5:10, so there was no way that I could get there for the start, but given that it's a 3 hour class there would be a break in there somewhere.

After work I scurried to LCC, and then waited and waited and waited in order to get into the parking ramp. In the end I did manage to find the building just fine and find the classroom. Unfortunately the door was solid, and I couldn't see if there was a light on from under the door. I was NOT about to open the door to see if there was anyone in there- preferring to wait to see when they took a break. Which happened about 20 minutes after I got there. As it would happen, the syllabus is online and there's a course pack to be picked up. That meant no paperwork for me to collect. Somewhat of a wasted trip then.

Now because I'm me, this whole thing had my anxiety level fairly high in the 'I have to do WHAT?' area. Once I was doing I was pretty much okay. I knew that it could be a problem, but I also offered, so had to follow through. Hubby was most relieved and that just added to the 'have to follow through' bit, especially as he didn't quite realize how anxious I was getting.

But I did it. And managed to get to Hobby Lobby to return a couple crochet hooks I'd purchased (not realizing I already had them) and got a few more. It's a collectors thing, I want to have one of every hook just like I need one of every color floss. Then I'll find something new to collect. ;)

The kitty kids were in a sad state. Dad was gone all day and Mom didn't get home till 7 pm!! *gasp*shock*horror* The Grey was too weak to even greet me at the door, and the Leo was mewing so pitifully! But after eating The Grey disdainfully ignored me and then played tag with the Leo, until he annoyed her. Then she shared the couch with me while he went to take a nap on the bed. Talked to the hubby and then ended up making a Meijer run because there were a few things he needed. He planned to stop on his way home from work- but I said I would go so he wouldn't be missing even MORE sleep.

Meijer was kind of fun. I wandered around, got the thermometer (and some non-requested thermometer sleeves) and a cheap, non-digital watch with a second hand. The two requested items, and of course picked up a few more things here and there that I remembered we needed.

Thus confused the kitty-kids even MORE. Mom NEVER leaves when she's home for the evening. Never! She may be late coming home, but once she's home she's home! So that was rather fun too. Then it was time to shower and get to bed! I guess a bit of a plus with the hubby's schedule is that my sleep schedule is going to be back on track (no more napping in the evening in order to be awake when he comes home), a good thing very likely.

And it's snowing. I don't like.
