The weekend round-up!
I was going to say that I don't really remember Friday- then I remembered- THE BOX! Box contained prezzies from my older sister. And was way cool! There were books (read or not and pass along) and yarn, which was groovy. There was a greys color yarn that I'm working on making into a shawl for my Grannie's 95th birthday (Feb 4). She'll get it if it turns out well. ;) Then were the actual birthday prezzies! Including two books from the Honey Bunch series. These are little kid books that were printed in the 1930's, when I was a kid I read the two my mom had gotten when SHE was little. Now I have a total of 5 Honey Bunch books. This makes me happy. Also, some way, WAY cool yarn. Now I need to find the perfect scarf pattern for it. Also got
Bride and Prejudice - a movie I've been meaning to see. So that's of the Yay! too. :)
So the evening was pretty much spent playing with my new yarn and watching
Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (which was kind of an 'eh' type of movie- though Topher Grace was fun). And there was a nap with a Sasha and a phone conversation with the hubby thrown in too. So Friday was a nice night.
( Saturday and PUPPY Dawgs! )Now on to Sunday... Didn't do much. Worked on crocheting shawl for Grannie, then grocery shopped with the hubby. And then it was just Farscape and an early bedtime.
