Year In Review

The year isn't quite over yet, but as I've been reviewing it in my mind I thought I might as well review here as well. It seems every year has its ups and downs, although some are more momentous then others.

So that's my year so far. :)

It's all fun and games until...

Someone's eye gets poked out- then it's hilarious!

Ahem... the subject of injuries came up in a friend's journal, leading to this response of mine:

1. broken big toe in 6th grade- I managed to carry a desk from one end of the school to the other, and in the process of setting it down it slipped and fell on my foot.

2. Fell up the stairs, skinning my knees and hands.

3. Had the laces for one boot catch on the eyelet of the other boot and went sprawling on the sidewalk (ripped my favorite pair of jeans too!)

4. Managed to make it down the flight of stairs at a jog and then while *walking across a flat surface* managed to sprain my ankle.

5. Tripped over air more times than I care to remember. :)

6. Slammed fingers of my right hand in the car door and tried to walk away- and was surprised when my hand wouldn't come with the rest of me...

And that's all that I can think of off the top of my head... Hmm, I think I'll cross-post this comment to my journal- see who else has 'fun' injury stories.

So there ya go... any entertainment? Any "oopsies!" we can laugh at, maybe even mock? :)
