Hmm, Friday
Nov. 18th, 2005 02:57 pmFriday is a nice day, I like Fridays. I would like this Friday much more if the clock didn't currently say 2:59 but 4:59- cause then I could be on my way home soon. But alack and alas, it is not that time. Which means I have two more overly exciting hours here! Woot I say!
I'm having a strange week. I blame hormones- mostly because they don't mind taking the blame. They're kind of used to it by now. So blame them I shall. Tired, as usual. This trend is becoming a bit too constant for my liking. (or apparently licking as I first typed that) Problem is simple- I don't like going to sleep before the DH comes home- first off, it's difficul to fall asleep without him on one side and The Grey on the other. When I try to go to sleep before he gets home from work The Grey won't even come see me. So it's too cold. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. This leads to napping in the evening. Napping is good, but an hour nap doesn't really make up for 2 hours of sleep (or more).
So last night I was in a mood wherein I wanted to talk to someone, not so much type to them, but talk to them. This was not to be. I called about 4 people and left 5 messages (one person has two numbers) and didn't get any calls back. Not that they're to be blamed individually- it's just with none of them calling back I was made grumpy. Or at least I was last night. I'm better today. :) Then I napped and that was nice. Had my robe as a blankie- so that automatically meant I got a Sasha curled up on/near me. Leo was already at the end of the couch, so he stayed put.
(and then I got phone calls, and almost fell asleep at my desk... so it's later now. ;) )
So the evening was fairly mellow- got a high score on Bejeweled, talked to da hubby, and bagan to watch "Wicked" the first starring role for Julia Stiles... and it's kinda weird... and I'm not sure it's weird in a good way. She plays a 14 year old girl, Daddy's favorite, and when Mommy gets murdered- she wants to take her place. And, while I didn't see the entire movie, it's beginning to look like she wants to take Mommy's place in all ways... Ew.

sarbah77 and her hubby tomorrow- very much looking forward to that. Afterwards it's over to game with mightyafrodite and co.- which should be fun too. Hopefully Sunday will be just as good- though with fewer plans. ;)
This reminds me... I need a good 'sleepy' icon... I don't have one. Oh.. heh, forgot about this window. Should post now... (Will someone wake me at 5? ;) )
