The upper back/neck/shoulder thing that started Saturday morning is still continuing. Mrph. I'm really not enjoying this. There's just something about being able to turn my head freely that I'm attached to. Also, wearing Ben Gay patches, while fashionable, is a bit smelly- and the adhesive makes the skin just slightly sticky.
So it looks like I may be in search of a chiropractor to figure out what it was exactly that I did to myself. I have several ideas on what may have been contributing factors- separately or all together (hearing a weird popping noise in the shoulder blade area a bit ago, deciding to be macho and carry 38 pounds of kitty litter through the store instead of getting a cart, as well as at least one other thing).
Luckily I won't need a referral from my PCP- given the length of time it takes them to return a phone call- I could be in pain for at least another week before I could even MAKE an appointment to see a chiropractor.
Anyone in the Lansing area know a chiropractor to recommend?
