The upper back/neck/shoulder thing that started Saturday morning is still continuing. Mrph. I'm really not enjoying this. There's just something about being able to turn my head freely that I'm attached to. Also, wearing Ben Gay patches, while fashionable, is a bit smelly- and the adhesive makes the skin just slightly sticky.

So it looks like I may be in search of a chiropractor to figure out what it was exactly that I did to myself. I have several ideas on what may have been contributing factors- separately or all together (hearing a weird popping noise in the shoulder blade area a bit ago, deciding to be macho and carry 38 pounds of kitty litter through the store instead of getting a cart, as well as at least one other thing).

Luckily I won't need a referral from my PCP- given the length of time it takes them to return a phone call- I could be in pain for at least another week before I could even MAKE an appointment to see a chiropractor.

Anyone in the Lansing area know a chiropractor to recommend?

You fit in with:
Spiritualism

Your ideals are mostly spiritual, but in an individualistic way. While spirituality is very important in your life, organized religion itself may not be for you. It is best for you to seek these things on your own terms.

60% spiritual.
60% reason-oriented.

So here I sit and answer phones. I get odd ones from time to time. The most recent went like this:

Caller: "Hi, can I speak to A"

me: "I'm sorry, there's no one here by that name. Can I help you?"

Caller: "I'm looking for Mr. A Lastname"

me- realizing who she's talking about: "Oh I'm sorry, he no longer works here. Can I help you?"

Caller: "Are you his wife?"

Me- wtf?: "No, this is a business not a home number. Can I help you?"

Caller: "Well you said he no longer works there, so are you his wife?"

Me: "No. Can I help you?"

Caller: "Well I'll just call back and speak to a manager."

Me- not bloody likely: "Could you tell me what this call is regarding?"

Caller: "No, I'll just call back and speak to a manager." Click

Now, I'm pretty sure I was speaking American English, but I'm not sure what she heard...
