Friday Night Update
May. 20th, 2005 11:35 pmWell, another Friday evening mostly gone. Should be heading to bed fairly soon. But first, in the news.
This afternoon was the interview... I think it went okay. But I'm really just not as excited about this job as I was before- okay, so this particular admin assistnat role is more up my alley, and I think I would really enjoy it, after the disappointment of the last opportunity at this company I'm leery of gettig too hyped about it.
In other good news... tomorrow my momma comes down to visit and we're going to go wedding dress shopping. I've been putting it off in the hopes I would lose some weight, but that doesn't seem to be happening. So at least we're going to go look and possibly pick one to buy later on and we'll see. Also, took the first steps to getting more information on a potential place for the wedding. So that's of the good. :) Also whacked the guest list down from 80-100 + to just under 45. The Beau and I discussed it on the phone tonight and neither one of us wants a super-huge wedding, the smaller number (which includes immediate family and close friends) will be more intimate. And cheaper. ;)
Okay, off to nap until the Beau gets home from work. If I can get Dnager Boy! to calm down long enough. There have, apparently, been many things in the house today that need attacking... Oi. Oh, speaking of the Danger Boy! I'm rather excited, my mom will be seeing him for the first time tomorrow. Since only like 5 of my friends have met the Boy it's neat to be able to add to the list. Hmm... it might help if I invited more people to my house, huh?
