Hmmm take II
Mar. 4th, 2004 01:45 pmOi, just had most of a long post written when my computer decided to muck up.
so having another relatively long day at work. I would really like to go home now, but I can't think of a good excuse. One of the 'three' (myself and two other mail processing type people) went home about an hour ago. Although, it took some convincing from me to get her to leave. The poor thing was absolutely miserable! It was obvious that she should just go home and relax and feel better. So I talked her into going home.
In other news... just got e-mail from the Elder Brother J. Apparently he and his girlfriend will be in Ann Arbor a week from Monday. This is groovy. More groovy is that they want me to join them for lunch. Too cool. This girlfriend seems to be a really nice, confident and attentive woman. (by attentive I mean she actually listens when you speak and her responses show that she's paying attention to everything you've said in your conversations and not just the statements made in the last minute.) So I'm looking forward to that, I really do want to get to know her better.
For tonight though, a relatively lazy Girl Night with the
mightyafrodite . Yay! Just watching a movie, stitching and hanging out with my best friend. Sounds like a pretty terrific way to spend the evening to me. :)
Tomorrow is Friday. Yay! Tomorrow night I have a board meeting... this should be interesting. I haven't been to the alst couple for a variety of reasons, and since the last meeting a huge controversy has been going on. I'm curious as to what the other board members will have to say about it.
From the meeting it's a journey up to Lansing for the night. Saturday is AD&Ding (YAY!) and then Sunday I return to Ann Arbor in time to be at Zimmer at 9 am, and then back again in the afternoon for their volunteer meeting.
Somwhere in there I think I get to breathe and sleep, but I'm not sure. ;)
Lunch break almost over, I gotta go. :(
