Well, I was going to post yesterday about this terrible headache that I've been having for days... but then co-worker TM was going out to lunch and we ended up at Mark's Midtown (instead of me being here and able to post).

At the time I was thinking it wasn't a big deal- I would bitch about the headache today. Hmm, doesn't really seem appropriate to bitch when the head is no longer hurting.

Okay, so I have a really mild headache (that's actually really typical for me) but it doesn't count in comparison with the one that I did have earlier.

So what else is going on. Well, I've found more of my room. And now I'm just trying to figure out where everything is going to go. Have the computer all hooked up- but no phone line. This really isn't too much of a problem since our phone line seems to be having issues anyway. The Myghti can't get her computer to connect with AOL- and if her's cant, mine certainly won't.

Oh, and Myghti (okay, will someone tell me how to write in the names as links, as I see so many other people do? Thanks!) and I finally found most of our living room. Enough of it at least to sit and watch the Dog Beauty Pageant last night (that would be Day 1 of Westminster for the uninformed). Housemate DK doesn't particularly care for Westminster- preferring instead to watch agility competitions or obedience trials. Myghti and I like watching though, and getting annoyed by them.

Day 1 is complete and three of the four dogs going into Best In Show competition were there last year. The fact that Josh the giant Newfie that I really adore, is going on again is wonderful. The fact that Les the Pekinese and Miki the Standard Poodle are going on sucks. Heh, I don't like Pekinese, they just annoy me somehow. Now Pomeranians, that's a whole other matter. They just cute!

My other problem is that I really favor the less popular breeds- and they never seem to win their groups, much less best in show. Well, according to DK a Malamute won BIS in like 1997. Okay, that's cool, they're wonderful dogs. But I have to wonder what would happen if a Finnish Spitz or an American Eskimo took best in show (hell, I'd like to seem them take their group!). Last night the Eskie was absolutely adorable, and then he starts his second walk down the row and the judge just turned her attention to the next dog. All the other dogs she at least pretended to watch make their second journey. Hmph. (Oh, breeds I like, in no particular order: Finnish Spitz, American Eskimo, Malamutes, German Shepherds (though they do tend to win), Great Pyrenees, Newfoundlands, Pomeranians, Border Terriers, Norfolk Terriers (though Coco is having a fabulous year and just won a Eukanuba show a week or so ago), Otterhounds, and several others that aren't coming to mind.)

So... from the above would you guess that I'm really a cat-person at heart and just like dogs? Me neither.
