Curiousity

So in another person's journal the topic of birthdays near holidays came up. Which got me thinking and wondering if other people find that there are grouped birthdays or special events? Are they concentrated on around certain holidays? By example I give you the 'calendar' for my family:

Jan- Birthdays- Me 11, dh's son-in-law 13 (I think)
Feb- Birthdays- Mom Feb 27, Grandma P
March- Birthdays- Brothers 28, DH 29, Grandpa D 30
April- Birthdays- Sis 2
May- Anniversaries- Sis and Bro-in-law 30, Sis-in-Law K and hubby J
June- Birthdays- mom-in-law 9, step-daughter M 20, sis-in-law M 24, sis-in-law B 25, Anniversaries- Bro and B- 14, Bro and M- 19
July- Anniversary- Mom and Dad
August- Birthdays- sis-in-law K 6, Dad Aug 30
September-
October- Anniversary- DH and Me
November- Birthdays- Bro-in-law 3, Baby B 8
December- Christmas!!

So mid-June is a bit hectic, as is late March/early April, but other than that- we're fairly well spread out- how about the rest of you?

Trust me, I have far FAR too many of them. :D

(and yet, I'm still looking for more. Like my cross-stitch stash apparently!)

Hehe - you have the same b-day as my mum :)

I know that a bunch of my family was born in March, 5 total relatives including me that I know of. A few in May. We're not so close so I dunno about the others. However, my brother is starting a June trend, he and his daughter :)

My husband's b-day is Nov 22. Which he hated as his parents used to pick his b-day or x-mas to be "big" (which in real terms wasnt big at all). So either his b-day or x-mas, depending upon what they picked would be really small and disappointing. Poor thing! Though no surprise as they shipped him off to boarding school when he was 8 until he was 18. Then he went to University.

Hmm... either you have a psychic connection to the Big E... OR! IT's a warning against over consumption of illegals and ego. ;)

Okay... now I'm jealous...

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 12:32 pm (UTC)(link)
But, but... you're not her. So obviously it's different. ;)

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I am beginning to think you win... ;)

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 12:47 pm (UTC)(link)
But they take up less physical space. ;)

I had a couple early spring parties- but with my brothers and sister having their birthdays around that time... let's just say it got complicated. ;)

Specially with my brothers birthday being 5 days before my sister's.

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You have a lot of teachers in your family huh? ;)

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Your mum must be way cool then. ;) This is funny- all growing up I know only one other person who shared my birthday. Then today I see there are several. (which, duh, I KNEW but I didn't know specific people ;) )

Poor hubby- that doesn't sound like any fun at all.

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I like spread out, easier on the pocketbook. ;)

[identity profile] sarbah77.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That might well be her thinking. ;)

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my....

[identity profile] sarbah77.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Icons? I suppose so. Though my patterns don't take up too much space... it's the fabric that's troublesome. ;)

[identity profile] sarbah77.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Do I get a prize or do I just go broke? ;)

[identity profile] sarbah77.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:08 pm (UTC)(link)
In my last department, I not only shared a birthday with a coworker, but year and time of day, too. Like, I was born two hours before she was. That always weirded me out. :)

Not really - in fact at the moment, I'm the only one. But vacations in July and August have always been common because of the school system, so it's not just teachers who get pregnant then.

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:17 pm (UTC)(link)
*heap big sigh* I know! I have a gazillion patterns but no excess fabric. S'why I don't need a whole closet to store everything in. ;)

[identity profile] kokopelleigh.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
hahah...maybe so on both counts! LOL!

[identity profile] jadecat.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I was going to award you a rubber chicken... but Leo ate it. Sorry. I'll see what I can come up with. ;)

That reminds me of my twin Dan! Yes, Dan and Anne. We were both born Jan 11, 1975 and within a couple hours of each other. We actually looked enough alike that we could probably have honestly passed as twins.

[identity profile] sarbah77.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! Not the case at UCLL. She was taller than me, slim, and fair. ;) Since I'm short, dark, and top heavy there was no way.

My mum used to be super cool. That is until she went "neo-con super mega bible beater everyone who doesnt go to my church is evil blah blah blah" on me...we'll refer to her good ol' cool days though :P

I have two birthday buddies that I know of. One is my best friend from High School [livejournal.com profile] rubian77 and the other was one of my mum's cousins before she passed away. How weird! hehe.

It is a strange thing to find out someone else shares "your" birthday. It eventually gets cool :) Though strange thing, [livejournal.com profile] rubian77 and I looked quite a bit alike (minus her red hair) in high school...that was just bizarre! We're only one year different in age too.

Yeah - he had an awful childhood. However, he's a super amazing man despite it! Even if he is a cuddle monster! *whistles* hehe

[identity profile] firesign10.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Don'tcha hate that....that happened to my brother too...then he didn't speak to me for like 2 years after I got divorced. But their way is better!!! :-P yeah right.....

[identity profile] firesign10.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 06:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I shared a birthday with a co-worker (don't know what hour she was though) and she couldn't have been MORE different than I...we managed to be polite to each other but we didn't like each other at all!!!
