Ever since I was a little girl... I have had this aversion to bumper stickers. Now, I do like to see them on other people's cars, and I see many I wouldn't mind displaying... but actually sticking on on my car?! Noooo...

Except, I have one now. The first bumper sticker I have EVER put on my car. Hopefully my dad won't freak. ;) Are you curious? I'm sure you are. The bumper sticker has a word and a number. Obama 08 (moveon.org sent it to me for free!)

Last night, I went to Quiznos to pick up dinner for me (after running errands, and hubby was at work). The on-duty manager saw the bumper sticker. When ringing up my salad he let me know I was getting 10% off for having a cool bumper sticker. :) I am amused. And hey- 10% off!


In other New Kid on the Block News... I was 13 when they were hugely popular, and such a fan. I look back now and just shake my head with a smile. So young, such bad taste. (though some may argue this still hasn't improved). Now I find, per Perez Hilton, that my teen fantasies are dashed! Why did the one I was soooo in "love" with have to be the gay one!? *laughs*

Although this: "x has a [non-famous] boyfriend and they're very happy," a source reveals. "They're not trying to hide it." is neat.

I've got one of those Obama bumperstickers, haven't put it on the car yet. I'm the same way about putting stickers on my car. The usual line is "stickers reduce the resale value", but hey, I got 12 years out of my last car and this recently-new one will probably end up the same way. I did put a round Celtic knotwork sticker on a corner of the back window of my old car years ago (long story, King Crimson sticker), and recently found the identical one I had figuring that by now I would have accidentally scraped that sticker off. So my new car has the same sticker in the same spot.

Plenty of room on the other side of the back window for the Obama sticker, though.
