2013?
Okay, so I have a time card and I supposed to punch in and out. No big deal. Well today I came back for lunch before I left... at least that's how it looks on my time card since I punched out for lunch on the in line.
I'm making a cute little arrow arc to indicate the times should be read in reverse... when I notice something odd. The time card reads: 03-11-01:41P MO. Something seems wrong. So I check my work phone- and it claims it's Mar 10. My work computer claims March 10, 2008... I had already corrected the clock for DST and wondered if I did something wrong. But I noticed that my 'in' time- prior to fixing the clock, was also 03-11.
Time to investigate. Armed with the key I went back to the machine. I pushed many buttons, sometimes the same one many times. This is when I discovered that the time clock thought it was the year 2013. A ridiculous presumption as we know the world will be ending in 2012.
Why the clock was of the opinion it was really 2013 I have no idea. I think it just wanted to mess with my head. Or perhaps my boss's (as she reads all the time cards).
My little conversation with the clock convinced it that it was 2008, and thus Monday was 3-10, not 3-11.
