Oh dear... I've spent the afternoon looking at Pen Porn. Yes, pens. I found out there is a community for fans o' the fountain pen. Being inclined towards pens (I like them, I really do, and can easily be distracted by the writing utensil section of stores) I joined, and then began a broader search.
Did you know there's a Jaguar brand of pen that sells for a couple hundred dollars? Whoa. Neither did I.
And then I went looking on eBay, and found a really pretty green Watermark fountain pen for a little under $20- it looks really pretty, and can either be cartridge fed or ink bottle (with the help of a converter). So I just had to bid- didn't I? :)
Of course, hubby's birthday is next week- but I have two presents for him already- and I just purchased something online- so I think I'm actually covered there... Although it reminds me- I need to get cards for him, my brothers, my grandfather and my sister. Heh, talked to my mom on Monday- apparently the birthday card I sent her made her cry- but that was a good thing not a 'you're a terrible mother and I hate you' sort of thing.

royal_jester Thanks for the loan of season 1- Gilmore Girls. I watched the first two episodes last night and quite enjoyed them. I even made the hubby watch the first episode and he liked it!
Never mind, just some ramblings of the Anne...
